Good to see a Canadian version of CPAC. CPAC had a record attendance of over 8000. CPAC is non-partisan. CPAC does not pay any of its speakers. It brings in Traditional Conservatives, Moderate Conservatives, and Libertarians. Over half the attendees are in the 18 to 24 age bracket. They a do that by making student fees a nominal 50 bucks, and offer a job fair for student interns. Its a win win for networking.
The Left should be doing the same thing here. Perhaps Scott can help organize it. You can call it a "Canadian Progressive Political Action Conference" or CP-PAC. Its a way to get the youth trained and fired up.
Manning knows a good idea when he sees it, kudos to him.
Progressive bloggers should attend, take notes, and organize one themselves.

"Liberals are saving a few trees from being cut down in the process."

Not sure how a plastic card is more environmentally responsible. You have any idea of the production process, its inability to break down, don't get me wrong, my wallet is full of plastic. I just fail to see how its superior to paper.

Manley blubbering all over him about how great a guy Harper

On the Afghanistan file one would hope for some bi-partisanship. Manley sees this, I hope other Liberals would too. The NDP, I would never expect any support.
