LPCO Team Trudeau Training in Hamilton, Santa Claus Parade in Brantford.

A rather busy weekend for me, I was up in Hamilton attending another LPCO event, which they billed as “Campaign College”. Basically, it was an expansion of the event that they held in London earlier in September. Without getting into any confidential details of what was said or done, The LPC staff are really emphasizing ridings and candidates to prepare now and get ready now for an election at any time in 2015, as there is no trust in LPC circles that Harper will stick to his fixed-election law and wait until October 2015 to call one. Canvassing in Whitby-Oshawa with Celina Caesar-Chavannes

This past Saturday, I had the privilege to be part of a small group to travel to Whitby-Oshawa and visit Celina Caesar-Chavannes campaign office (there was a bit of pre-travel angst on how I was getting there, but it worked out, thanks to a couple of understanding people). Obviously, this was a heinous act, and I think Parliament needs to strengthen its security, but while the government and RCMP are labeling […]

Congrats to Danielle Takacs, new LPC candidate for Brantford-Brant

I had the great privilege and honour to be in Brantford last evening for the nomination of my good friend Danielle Takacs; she is now the Liberal candidate for the riding of Brantford-Brant. My fellow blogger Jeff Jedras has also done a blogpost on Danielle which he listed all of her extensive accomplishments she has already done and still a part of, so I won’t go into that list – you may read them at your leisure over at his site. Rather, I’ll mention that it was an amazing night, with an overflow crowd of 100 – I’ll admit, we didn’t know what to expect for crowd size, but […]
